Who we are

SGS TECNOS stands as a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, certification, and regulation, renowned for its commitment to quality and integrity. Additionally, it is a recognized training company with extensive experience in safety and well-being at work. Established in Spain in 1929, the company has grown significantly, currently employing over 4,100 professionals within the SGS Spain Group, with a network of more than 136 offices and laboratories across all Autonomous Communities. Diversifying its activities over time, SGS has ventured into areas such as the environment, occupational risk prevention, quality assurance, training, health, and more. Leveraging the technical expertise of its different business areas, since 2005, the company has actively participated in national and international projects, assuming roles both as coordinators and partners, showcasing versatility and fostering innovation.

Our participation in the project

SGS TECNOS SA is the Leading Organisation for Project Management, responsible for coordinating key horizontal activities such as monitoring, coordination, communication, evaluation, and risk assessment. These tasks ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the project, timely identification of issues, and continuous improvement, all contributing to the achievement of high-quality and impactful results aligned with European priorities.

Additionally, SGS TECNOS SA also leads the Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation work package, implementing a multi-level strategy to maximize visibility and outreach. This includes managing the project website and social media, producing visual and written materials, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting results through events and publications.

Our Team

Alba Ponce López

Project manager

Alba holds a degree in International Business, and a master’s in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Management. Alba has actively contributed to H2020, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects spanning diverse topics such as digital health, circular economy, and environmental issues. Her primary responsibilities revolve around project management and communication activities.  

Sara Amador Martin

Project manager (from 2026)

She holds a degree in Global Studies, a program fostering a broad understanding of the world, analytical skills, linguistic competence, and international expertise. Following the completion of her degree, she further specialised in gender studies through the master’s in interdisciplinary Intervention in Gender Violence. Sara has actively contributed to H2020, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects spanning diverse topics such as digital health, rural development, and genderrelated issues. Her primary responsibilities predominantly revolve around project management and communication activities

Lucia Paloma Castillo Regidor

Project manager (UNTIL 2025)

Lucía is a forestry engineer with solid experience in H2020, Horizon Europe, and LIFE programme calls in areas related to renewable energy, education, and social awareness. Her responsibilities include managing and coordinating activities in the projects she is involved with.
